On June 9th, Kris Beckers, the honorary Consul of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Belgium, visited SOTON’s facilities, which were successfully relocated from the eastern to the western part of Ukraine in 2022. The visit reaffirmed the significance of our achievements and the crucial role played by IF SMART’s management in facilitating the relocation process and adapting the business to emerging challenges.

The purpose of Kris Beckers’s visit was to familiarize himself with the relocation project and the assistance provided by local authorities to businesses. During the meeting, the necessity of identifying potential obstacles and exploring effective ways to mitigate them was discussed.

Furthermore, Kris Beckers commended SOTON’s ability to withstand challenges and maintain high-quality production. The parties discussed SOTON’s export activities and the prospects of supplying SOTON’s products to Belgium for the construction of sound-absorbing structures along local highways.

We take immense pride in SOTON being recognized as a successful example of relocation. As we move ahead, we reassure our commitment to support SOTON. We will continue working hand in hand to create an environment that enables the company’s growth and allows it to reach new heights. Together, we will explore new opportunities, overcome obstacles, and ensure the sustained growth and prosperity of SOTON in the years to come.
